Job summary

Vogt Power International Inc. seeks a Lead Project Designer to drive design work during sales and construction phases. You will lead CAD tasks, develop 3D models, review P&IDs, and assist with vendor communications and project planning. Travel to job sites is required.

The role requires a strong CAD background, 10+ years in industrial design, and the ability to mentor team members while coordinating with engineering, management, and vendors.

Qualifications

• CAD design experience in industrial, power generation, boiler, or similar environments.
• Experience leading project design efforts and mentoring CAD personnel.
• Knowledge of ASME codes and pressure-part design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project control drawings (model) using mechanical, thermal and structural data.
• Review P&IDs for contract adherence and company standards.
• Prepare 3D models and CAD drawings for major equipment.
• Travel to sites for field assignments and attend site meetings.
