Job summary

AspenTech seeks a Manager, Project Management to lead a team delivering Digital Grid Management customer projects. You will establish delivery standards, drive consistency, and partner with Services, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success to maximize value.

The role emphasizes leadership, governance, risk control, on-time/on-budget delivery, and high customer satisfaction. You will mentor Project Managers and advance continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of project management, program management, or professional services experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing project managers, technical teams, or delivery organizations.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, highly technical customer projects and portfolios.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and project planning methodologies such as PERT and CPM.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project execution, identify risks, resolve escalations, and align with customer expectations.
• Oversee a portfolio of customer projects, ensuring successful execution, financial control, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Manage contract and scope changes to ensure commercial and operational success.
• Drive project financial performance including revenue forecasting and margins.
• Collaborate with customers and executives to build strong relationships and outcomes.
• Partner with leadership to define delivery strategies and priorities.
• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers to maintain a high-performance culture.
