Job summary

Aspen Technology, Inc. is seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee large-scale software implementation projects within the Digital Grid Management unit. You will drive project plans, coordinate execution, and ensure on-time delivery with quality outcomes.

Based in Medina, Minnesota, this role operates in a 4-1 hybrid model with travel up to 10%. You will mentor teams, manage budgets, and align projects with strategic priorities for customer satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in project management or related fields (software implementation and services).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Experience with PERT/CPM and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with highly technical and complex projects.
• Electrical utility industry and/or automation/SCADA project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or oversee the development of project plans and schedules.
• Manage the contract change process as needed.
• Coordinate project implementation plans.
• Ensure that projects are properly tested, approved and documented.
• Set the strategy for projects based on the business unit's priorities.
• Lead and coach assigned project team members.
• Manage and determine budget, timelines, priorities and resources for the project.
