Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Cost Specialist in the Pittsburgh area to own project costs from budget through completion. You will manage budgets, track actuals, forecast final costs, and produce insights to guide project teams across North America.

The role requires 6+ years in cost controls, strong Excel, and experience with JDE/EcoSys/Procore. Initially remote, then transition to in-office as the new office opens, with up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in project cost controls, cost management, or related fields.
• Experience building, maintaining budgets and forecasting project costs.
• Familiarity with actuals vs. budget, variance analysis, and cost-to-complete.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control project budgets and cost baselines.
• Track actual costs, commitments, forecasts, and cost trends.
• Perform EAC/ETC, variance, and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Identify cost risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and performance updates.
• Communicate cost performance to project managers and leadership.
