Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking a Sr Specialist - Project Coordinator to coordinate a geographic portfolio of network installation and upgrade projects. You will monitor scopes, budget, timelines, and progress, while collaborating with internal teams and third‑party partners.

Remote work is possible, with Wisconsin-based candidates preferred to support in-market needs. Responsibilities include scheduling, reporting, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery as per company standards with moderate travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
• 3+ years of telecommunications or commercial construction experience.
• 1+ year of project leadership experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide project coordination support for a geographic area and project management of assigned network projects using project management tools and aids.
• Maintain plans through the life cycle of projects; monitor to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery; provide direction to internal and third-party resources.
• Produce detailed project/portfolio reports and notifications; track capital budget expenditures and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Ensure closure of projects including budget, invoicing, contracts, and retirement-of-units related to the capital project.
• Examine project documentation/data for completeness and accuracy.
• Stay current with installation procedures and regulatory processes to assist planning of network changes.
