Job summary

Syner-G seeks a Sr. Project Coordinator to provide advanced organizational, administrative, and field-level support for construction and maintenance projects with a strong emphasis on health and safety. Travel to client sites may be required.

You will act as a key facilitator between project managers, field safety professionals, contractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring coordination, documentation, and regulatory compliance. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role.
• Experience supporting construction project delivery or working in a construction-related environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; safety software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination support for field safety team on construction projects.
• Assist with safety tasks during construction, planning, and design phases.
• Lead pre-construction planning meetings and distribute materials.
• Maintain schedules, trackers, logs, and safety documentation.
• Review contractor JHAs, SSSPs, and safety programs.
• Participate in site walks to document observations and track actions.
• Compile safety metrics and recommend improvements.
• Assist incident investigations and prepare draft client reports.
• Support inspections and meetings with regulators or insurers.
• Ensure documentation aligns with SOPs/MOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate follow-up actions to close hazards with contractors.
• Collaborate with project teams and safety reps for alignment.
• Provide admin and logistics support for safety training and briefings.
• Identify opportunities to leverage digital tools and automation.
