Job summary

EMH&T is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator in Columbus, OH to support the Commercial Development group. The role reports to the Director and assists with planning, budgets, and delivering large civil engineering projects for Fortune 10 clients and universities.

Travel to client sites and occasional evening meetings may be required. The ideal candidate brings MBA-level understanding of operations, 10+ years of project support, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• MBA required; concentration in Business Administration, Strategy, Operations, Project Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting project teams in a role coordinating, tracking, and documenting deliverables.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, corporate operations, technology, engineering, or other project-driven environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, Google Workspace, and project tracking tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate project records and budgets, track progress against timelines, and monitor deliverables.
• Attend client meetings, create and maintain WIP reports, provide updates on deadlines and milestones.
• Coordinate and document conference calls and web meetings, prepare agendas, notes, and action items.
• Develop standardized processes and deliverable frameworks to ensure quality and brand integrity.
• Protect confidential business information and maintain data management protocols.
• Synthesize complex information into professional communications for executives and clients.
• Identify risks and process challenges, developing solutions to maintain momentum.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve project objectives.
• Track and report on performance metrics and milestones for leadership insights.
