Responsibilities

• Oversee export/import operations, sea/air and heavy haul freight forwarding.
• Supervise loading and discharging at ports and job sites.
• Receive bookings from agents or clients and prepare quotations.
• Conduct freight negotiations with carriers and partners for price competitiveness.
• Coordinate with operations and subcontractors until delivery to customers.
• Assist with RFQ preparation and bid tender responses.
• Work with Managing Director and regional QHSES to address local office issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the successful , proactivedaily operation of export and import, sea/air and heavy haul freight forwardingactivities
• Supervise the loadingand discharging cargo operation at port of loading or/and port of dischargingas well as at jobsite/factories/workshops, etc.
• Receive booking from agents or clients, prepare quotation for clients and follow up with them
• Conduct freight negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, deugro overseas offices and agents for all modes of transportation, to ensure price competitiveness and profitability
• Follow up with operation & subcontractors until the shipment delivered to customers
  
• Assist with preparation of RFQ and Bid Tender Responses
• Together with Managing Director and Regional QHSES, to take good care all local QHSES issues of the office
  

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

• Successfully completed university degree in a related field
• Some years of Freight Forwarding experience preferred
