Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join our Transportation Business Group in Seattle. You will compose, format, proofread, and organize documents, manage files, and support project teams across multiple managers.

This role requires an associate degree, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel and document-control tools like SharePoint and Contract Manager. HDR values our employee-owned culture and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Compose, type, format, proofread, edit and organize documents, reports, specifications and correspondence.
  • Create and maintain paper and electronic files.
  • Order insurance and monitor insurance certificates.
  • Assist with developing project guides and provide information and support for project reviews.
  • Coordinate meetings and assist with presentations.
  • Work closely with multiple Project Managers and project teams.
  • Provide document control support and track documents via SharePoint and Contract Manager.

In the role of Senior Project Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Compose, type, format, proofread, edit and organize documents, reports, specifications and correspondence
  • Create and maintain paper and electronic files
  • Order insurance and monitor insurance certificates
  • Assist with developing project guides, and provide information and support for project reviews
  • Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project document management
  • Prepare, organize and assist with contracts and sub-contracts
  • Coordinate meetings and assist with presentations
  • Exhibit professionalism with clients
  • Work closely with multiple Project Managers and project teams
  • Assist with or prepare project invoices as needed
  • Provide document control support in accordance with document control procedures including copying and filing documents, receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents, entering documents into the MIS (SharePoint, Contract Manager or other document control systems), and related duties
  • Tracking the flow of documents via SharePoint and Contract Manager
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in transportation and highway projects
Required Qualifications
