Job summary

Xcel Energy Inc in Denver is seeking a Project Control Supervisor to guide the Project Controls organization and manage an active portfolio of front-line responsibilities along with supervisory duties.

The role focuses on developing capital project schedules, cost tracking, and implementing project controls tools and procedures to align with corporate standards. You will supervise a regional team and collaborate with area managers to achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 4 years related experience may be substituted for the degree
• 5 years project management / project controls experience
• Experience in overall project scheduling, reporting, and project planning methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and scheduling tools
• Proficient in Primavera scheduling tool

Responsibilities

• Develop capital projects schedules and interview project teams to validate scope inclusion in schedule.
• Define critical path and validate project schedule aligns with structure.
• Provide project cost tracking and reporting to management.
• Develop and control execution of work orders within ERP platform.
• Evolve business area procedures in line with corporate standards.
