Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Project Control Supervisor to provide supervisory direction to the Project Controls organization and manage a portfolio of front line responsibilities. The role aligns with the Project Controls strategy and corporate standards while contributing to KPIs and business initiatives.

You will interact daily with capital project teams and senior management to ensure consistent application of controls, schedules, and cost management across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or related field.
• 5 years project management / project controls experience.
• Experience in overall project scheduling, reporting, and project planning methods and practices.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and scheduling tools.
• Proficient in Primavera scheduling tool.

Responsibilities

• Develop capital projects schedules and interview project teams to validate scope in schedule.
• Develop and control the execution of work orders within the ERP platform.
• Maintain project tools across the business area using PM software systems.
• Provide regional supervisory direction to the regional project control specialist.
• Manage a team working with Capital Project teams on scope, schedule, and cost issues.
