Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking a Project Controls Specialist in Cranford, NJ to support engineering, procurement and construction activities through planning, scheduling and budget management.

The role involves developing and maintaining schedules, maintaining budgets in ERP, and reporting monthly status to clients and project teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 5–10+ years of project controls experience, strong communication skills, and supervisory background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5–10+ years of experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and analytical capabilities.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in timely development and maintenance of schedules.
• Maintain budgets in ERP system and report monthly budget/schedule status.
• Review project performance reports and identify trends for corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement and ensure resource-loaded schedules and reports.
• Travel as needed and comply with client background checks.
