Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a Project Controls Specialist in Cranford, NJ to support engineering, procurement and construction activities through planning, scheduling and budget management on utility and substation projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5–10+ years of experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and supervisory experience. Data management skills (ODBC, SQL, Power BI) are valued. Travel and background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, procurement, and construction through planning, scheduling, and budget management.
• Develop and maintain schedules and budgets in ERP system.
• Prepare monthly reports showing budget and schedule status.
• Review project performance reports and identify trends.
• Recommend corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure resource loaded schedules and accurate client reports.
