F.E. Moran Group of Companies in the Chicago area seeks an experienced Senior Project Controls Specialist to develop and maintain detailed integrated schedules for nuclear power projects.

You will work with project management, client management, and site personnel to ensure timely project delivery. The role requires proficiency in Primavera P6, strong MS Excel/Access skills, and meticulous analysis with clear communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling and resource loading.
• Advanced Excel and Access skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate: develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures.
• Analyze: perform critical path analysis and provide schedule insights and corrective actions.
• Document: produce look-ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports; assemble documentation.
• Advise: update on deviations and support schedule contingency management.
• Accounting functions: support month-end closing and phase gate processes.
• Organize: ensure standardized file locations for schedule documents.
• Communicate: interact with team members to understand requirements and environments.
• Travel: potential travel to client offices for meetings.
