Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Project Controls/Scheduling Specialist to lead schedule development and critical-path analysis for high‑value enrichment programs. You will own complex, resource‑loaded schedules across design, testing, construction, and deployment, using Primavera P6 to meet DOE standards and EVMS reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, construction management, or related discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).
8+ years of progressive experience in project scheduling, controls, earned-value management, or cost/schedule integration in DOE/nuclear/industrial environments.
Mastery of Primavera P6, critical-path methodology, resource loading, and Level 1–5 schedules.
Experience managing integrated cost/schedule baselines for large programs in multi‑million to multi‑billion range.
Ability to interpret technical inputs, coordinate multi‑discipline logic, and support field schedules.
Strong analytical skills to identify risks and trends and provide corrective recommendations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence stakeholders.
Experience implementing automation/tools for scheduling or reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop, update, and manage detailed, resource‑loaded schedules for Enrichment Operations projects.
Build and maintain integrated master schedules using Primavera P6 and DOE/EVMS requirements.
Own schedule baseline creation, integration, and maintenance for complex programs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineering, operations, supply chain, safety, and security to collect inputs and resolve conflicts.
Perform critical‑path analysis, forecast performance, and recommend adjustments to prevent variances.
Create schedule reports, dashboards, SPI/CPI metrics, and at‑completion projections for leadership.
Conduct schedule‑impact assessments, scenario modeling, and risk management analyses.
Ensure compliance with DOE scheduling requirements, internal controls, and change management.
