Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Control Specialist III for a hybrid role in the service territory across OH, PA, DE, MD, VA, and FL. You will develop cost forecasts, manage schedules, and perform risk analyses for complex projects, mentoring junior staff as needed.

The role emphasizes advanced forecasting, Monte Carlo analysis, and integrated controls across disciplines, with opportunities for growth and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of project controls or related experience.
• Standard Drivers' License.
• Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency.
• Advanced forecasting and schedule analysis experience.
• Experience performing Monte Carlo schedule and/or cost risk analysis.
• Experience developing risk-adjusted forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate project cost forecasts and estimate-at-completion projections.
• Monitor contingency utilization and recommend actions based on cost performance trends.
• Perform advanced cost variance analysis and support cost risk analysis.
• Lead development and maintenance of integrated project controls systems.
• Perform advanced schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and schedule quality assessments.
• Support project controls health checks and schedule quality assessments for complex or high-value projects.
• Conduct schedule and cost risk analyses and develop risk-adjusted forecasts.
