Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) to support our PMCM group on rail and transit projects. You will develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6, link scope with milestones, and coordinate with project teams.

You will review baselines, updates and recoveries, attend progress meetings, and track contractor progress. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, as are PMI/AACEI certifications.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction project scheduling experience, preferably Transportation.
• Understanding of construction scheduling processes.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6.
• PMI or AACEI certifications preferable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6 for rail and transit projects.
• Review contractor baseline, updates and recovery schedules using Primavera P6.
• Attend progress and schedule meetings.
• Accurately track contractor progress related to schedule.
• Maintain liaison with client and other consultants throughout project stages.
• Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.
