Job summary

National Grid is seeking a detail-oriented Lead Project Controls Scheduler to join the Major Capital Project Delivery team in Northborough, MA. This hybrid role focuses on ensuring schedule integrity across large-scale utility projects and reporting to project leadership.

You will develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, track milestones, analyze schedule performance and risk, and collaborate with directors, engineers, and contractors to drive on-time project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in Project Controls, Project Management, Scheduling, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale capital projects (utility/infrastructure) is highly valued.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules across a portfolio of large capital projects.
• Perform schedule updates, CPM analyses, and milestone tracking.
• Monitor schedule performance using SPI/CPI and support recovery plans.
• Lead schedule review meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement and legal to embed scheduling requirements in contracts.
• Verify contractor adherence to Project Controls processes during award and execution.
