Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Scheduler to lead detailed project schedules and WBS development for mission-critical facilities. You will design logically linked activities, monitor procurement timelines, and drive CCM-based improvements across complex programs.

You will mentor junior staff, produce regular schedule reports with EVM metrics, and manage change orders to protect project timelines and costs. This on-site role is based in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of scheduling experience with a High School Diploma.
• 6+ years of scheduling experience with an Associate degree.
• 2+ years of scheduling experience with a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development of detailed project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Designs project schedules with logically linked activities and proper predecessors/successors.
• Advises on validation of quantity take-offs and reviews contract documents for accuracy.
• Implements and maintains project documentation, including change orders.
• Leads tracking of procurement schedules and ensures timely delivery of equipment/materials.
• Advises on technical requirements and clarifies ambiguous contract items.
• Implements CCM-based schedules to optimize timelines and resources.
• Mentors junior team members in scheduling and software tools.
• Produces baseline vs. actual schedule reports, narratives and recovery schedules.
• Analyzes schedule performance with earned value management metrics.
• Manages pending/approved change orders and assesses impacts on timelines and costs.
