Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Senior Project Controls professional to oversee comprehensive scheduling activities for high-stakes projects in Tysons, VA.

You will ensure alignment with objectives, timelines, and resources, while coaching teams on best practices for scheduling and forecasting. You will lead the refinement of WBS, coordinate work areas, and mentor teams on estimation accuracy, emphasizing risk management and compliance with contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with a High School Diploma / GED OR 8+ years with an Associate's Degree OR 5+ years with a Bachelor's Degree OR 3+ years with a Master's degree.
• Experience with Project Management Software (PM Online) – In-house Software, AS400 CMMS, Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Advises on and leads the development and refinement of project Work Break down Structures (WBS) to ensure alignment with scope and deliverables.
• Strategizes the coordination and establishment of work areas to optimize workflow and integrate into project plans.
• Mentors teams on validating quantity take-offs for accuracy and reliability in project estimates.
