We are a large Commercial General Contractor seeking a Sr. Project Controls Scheduler to join our Operations team. The Sr. Project Controls Scheduler will be responsible for the planning and establishment of construction schedules in conformance with the standards and values of the company.

We are a large Commercial General Contractor seeking a Sr. Project Controls Scheduler to join our Operations team. The Sr. Project Controls Scheduler will be responsible for the planning and establishment of construction schedules in conformance with the standards and values of the company.

Responsibilities

• Manages the planning and establishment of construction schedules
• Works with Operations, Estimating, and Pre-Construction to develop and update construction schedules
• Monitors material inventories, tracks progress of construction, and reviews factors which affect construction schedules
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Communicates with Project Manager and team on all project related issues, changes, or delays
• Maintains and implements the pre-established guidelines necessary to perform the required duties of the position
• Leads P-6 training effort for all associates
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have minimum five to eight years’ experience in this position with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook), Timberline, P6
• Required to visit construction sites at some point during employment to review and update progress.
