Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst in Miami, FL to lead budget, schedule, and cost data collection for complex projects. You will monitor performance, develop reporting regimes, and support project teams across planning, development, and contractors.

The role requires 5+ years of Primavera P6 experience, strong project controls knowledge, and the ability to drive timely, cost-conscious decisions within the AEC sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of the principles of cost estimating, scheduling, finance and contract administration.
• Strong AEC project analyst skills.
• Project controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect budget, schedule and cost data for projects.
• Monitor ongoing schedule and cost activity.
• Review and evaluate data to identify performance risks and trends.
• Develop reporting regimes to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor and collect project data used by project managers, construction managers and contractors.
• Coordinate and provide leadership to Planning and Development Teams.
• Establish and maintain data coding structures and project control tools.
• Gather and track data for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual costs.
• Develop, implement and maintain a management reporting database.
• Ensure regular and timely project progress reporting.
• Promote communication and collaboration among project parties.
• Maintain computerized project reports according to project and contractual requirements.
• Review, evaluate and recommend changes to project documents.
• Assist in establishing a master schedule within agreed time and cost constraints.
