Job summary

PCL Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager in Arizona to lead cost, scheduling, and change-management for large industrial projects. You will mentor a team of controls professionals and coordinate with owners and EPC partners to drive consistent reporting and strong risk management.

You will leverage Primavera P6, MS Project, and Power BI to deliver accurate forecasts and dashboards, ensuring alignment with district and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline preferred; certification considered.
• 8+ years of progressive project controls experience in industrial construction or a related field; 12+ years with 6+ years supervisory for Senior level preferred.
• Experience working for a direct-hire contractor; direct exposure to mission critical/data center, semiconductor, mining, or heavy industrial work valued.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with PM4+, EnScope or equivalent is beneficial.
• Thorough understanding of contract language, insurance, bonding, and legal requirements; ability to identify and mitigate risk on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for costing and scheduling of one very large project or several concurrent industrial projects; monitor performance and advise on budget and schedule.
• Create the control estimate/budget and maintain it for the life of the project; oversee cost coding, forecasts, and change management.
• Lead development and maintenance of the resource-loaded schedule and resolve scheduling delays and variances.
• Own timely issuance of all project reporting (cost, schedule, progress) and align with district reporting initiatives.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor a multi-disciplinary project controls team and project engineers across sites.
