Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, plus minimum 6 years relevant experience.
• Without Bachelor's degree, additional 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to interact with multiple stakeholders.
• Must have good analytical ability and technical skills with high attention to detail.
• Must manage multiple projects simultaneously with ability to retain project information and changes.
• Must be proficient with MS Office (Excel) and large accounting systems.
• Smartsheet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounting functions for a significant project or program, coordinating with clients, subconsultants, project/program managers, and leadership.
• Manages complex client billing requirements and internal processes.
• Monitors contract terms and subcontractor compliance.
• Ensures timecard accuracy and resolves timekeeping errors.
• Prepares project financial reports, analyses, and budgets.
• Tracks work orders and charges to projects; communicates progress to supervisors.
• Maintains project accounting files and reviews reports for accuracy.
• Manages client billings and payments; resolves disputes and adjusts records.
• Reviews and processes accounts payable with leadership to ensure timely payments.
• Provides support to supervisors and project staff; performs other duties as needed.
• Interacts with internal staff and external subconsultants; assists PMO staff.
