Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Project Controls Manager in Portland, OR to oversee accounting for major projects, including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing coordination. A minimum of 6 years in a financial/analytical role is required, with strong MS Office skills and experience in Smartsheet preferred.

Responsibilities include timekeeping oversight, contract compliance, and collaboration with clients, subconsultants, and program staff to ensure profitability and accurate project accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a financial or analytical role.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to interact with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounting functions for a significant project or program and coordinates with client, subconsultants, project managers and leadership.
• Monitors contract terms, timecard accuracy, and resolves timekeeping errors; prepares project financial reports, analyses and budgets.
• Manages client billings and payments, resolves disputes, and reviews processing of accounts payable to ensure timely payments and ledger accuracy.
