Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an experienced leader to supervise a team of project controls professionals, directing cost control, scheduling and budgeting across multiple offices. The role requires extensive engineering and management experience, with a focus on delivering accurate estimates and rigorous project controls deliverables.

You will mentor staff, review important reports, and work with accounting and management on budgets and changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in electrical, mechanical, chemical or civil engineering is required.
• Professional registration or certification is preferred and may be required.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in project controls, cost control, cost estimation, planning, scheduling and project management.

Responsibilities

• Leading, training and mentoring project controls professionals for skills development.
• Reviewing and approving all project controls deliverables.
• Performing advanced cost control work as a technical specialist for complex engineering assignments.
• Developing cost studies and professional service estimates to support project work and proposals.
• Planning and organizing the work of the project controls team and communicating plans to leadership and clients.
