Job summary

KBR is seeking a Principal Project Controls Manager to lead enterprise-level cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance management on major capital projects from FEL/FEED through closeout.

The role requires a seasoned professional to own the controls framework, guide senior decision-makers, and build high-performing teams across planning, cost, estimation, and reporting. AACE/ PMI credentials are preferred, with extensive multi-project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 18+ years of progressive project controls experience on major EPC/EPCM capital projects.
• 8+ years leading integrated project controls functions on complex programs.
• Proven mastery of cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own the project controls strategy, governance, and execution for major capital projects.
• Lead cost budgeting, forecasting, and EAC/CotC reporting with a defensible basis.
• Oversee schedule integrity, baseline control, and integration with cost data.
• Chair Change Control Board and drive early identification of changes and impacts.
• Lead risk management, Monte Carlo analysis, and contingency sizing.
• Provide leadership across multi-discipline teams and interface with senior stakeholders.
