Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join our Projects team on-site at a data center project in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, with an anticipated duration of two years.

You will oversee cost control, scheduling and reporting, interfacing with clients and VPs to ensure deliverables such as monthly reports and reviews, and participate in audits and startup/demobilization activities.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Knowledge of general project controls functions (including Earned Value Reporting) and the ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress on firm fixed price projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist with troubleshooting field project controls issues; coordinate reporting process.
• Interface with clients and VP's to ensure the required deliverables are met, including monthly/period reports and project reviews.
• Participate in Project Support Team activities and periodic audits of processes; travel may be required.
• Coordinate all interface report-out meetings between client and field sites.
• Coordinate startup of new field sites and demobilization; includes field assignments.
• Coordinate placement of field personnel.
