Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support a Data Center Construction Project in Point Pleasant, WV. The role provides leadership and oversight of QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards.

The position emphasizes mission-critical infrastructure, subcontractor oversight, and coordination with Owner representatives through the project lifecycle, projected to continue through 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in construction quality assurance/control.
• At least 5 years in quality leadership/supervisory roles on industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Experience implementing and managing project quality plans, inspection/testing programs, nonconformance/corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, procedures, and project-specific requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to quality personnel, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors.
• Ensure activities comply with drawings, specs, codes, and standards.
• Oversee QA/QC for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and data center systems.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with Construction Management, Engineering, and Owner reps.
• Establish and monitor inspection/testing requirements, hold points, and witness points.
• Manage nonconformances, root-cause analysis, corrective actions.
