Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop and maintain schedule and cost baselines, analyze variances, and produce reports for stakeholders.

You will implement financial controls and forecasting techniques, collaborate with project teams, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with government/federal procurement regulations a plus.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency varies by project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Analyze schedule progress and productivity; update baselines and forecasts.
• Prepare Earned Value Management reports and client/status communications.
• Support the implementation of financial controls, procedures and forecasting.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project controls best practices.
