Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. This role focuses on developing complex schedule and cost baselines, collecting data, and delivering standard reports to stakeholders.

You will work with project teams to integrate risk reserves into forecasts and implement strong financial controls. The position requires expertise in Earned Value Management, Primavera P6, and EcoSys, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects and/or portfolios according to contract specifications.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports and discuss findings with the project manager.
• Monitor progress of deliverables, costs, and resource usage; ensure forecast accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff and supervise engineers on project work.
