Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead project controls for transportation infrastructure programs in a dynamic, multi-project environment. The role may be supported on a part- or full-time basis, reporting to the Project Controls and Construction Management Division.

Responsibilities include developing controls plans, cost management, risk mitigation, and scheduling using Primavera P6, with interaction across PMs, estimators, finance, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Ten years of project controls experience in transportation infrastructure construction.
• At least three years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of project controls and project management.
• Analytical with a hands-on leadership style.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of public policy and transportation practices.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project support efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project controls plans for large programs.
• Draft and improve project management processes.
• Lead staff resourcing for consultants.
• Coordinate SME to support scheduling, cost management, risk, and reporting.
• Manage master schedules (Primavera P6) and cost forecasts.
• Oversee earned value, scheduling, and cost reports.
• Collaborate with PMs, estimators, finance, designers, and engineers.
• Establish milestones and dashboards; implement corrective actions.
• Monitor contracts, budgets, and progress reports.
