Job summary

RK&K's Project Controls and Construction Management Division is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead and manage multiple project support efforts in transportation infrastructure development and construction.

You will supervise SME resources, develop cost-loaded schedules (Primavera P6), track budgets and forecasts, and deliver timely reports and dashboards to stakeholders, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of experience in project controls for transportation infrastructure.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of project controls and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of public policy and transportation practices.
• Ability to manage, coordinate, and oversee multiple project support efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project controls plans and procedures for large programs.
• Draft and improve project management processes.
• Serve as the management and administrative lead for Consultant staff resourcing.
• Coordinate SME support for scheduling, cost management, risk, and reporting.
• Implement and maintain cost-loaded master program schedules (Primavera P6).
• Manage budgets, track costs, forecast finances, and develop cost strategies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Provide accurate progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers to stakeholders.
• Oversee cost controls, change management, earned value, and scheduling efforts.
• Review and audit cost, progress, and schedule reports.
• Establish milestones, dashboards, and monitor progress with corrective actions.
