Job summary

U.S. Engineering Construction is seeking a Manager of Project Controls to lead multi-project CPM scheduling, cost-loading and progress reporting across regional divisions. You will partner with project teams to ensure timely, accurate schedules and data-driven decisions.

The role requires deep knowledge of HVAC/plumbing systems, budgeting, and experience with Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, Smartsheets and Power BI. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred OR equivalent combination of field and leadership experience.
• 10+ years of mechanical contracting scheduling and project controls experience with CPM scheduling for multi-project work.
• Broad knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems in mechanical contracting.
• Experience with cost and labor budgeting forecasting and trend analysis.
• Proficient with Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, Smartsheets, Power BI and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee creation and implementation of project control processes across regional divisions.
• Partner with PMs, field supervision, clients to ensure quality schedules.
• Develop, evaluate, maintain and distribute project schedules.
• Load budgeted cost or resources into schedules; track progress and deliverables.
• Provide CPM schedule analysis and reporting to project teams and clients.
• Interface with estimating and accounting as needed; train staff on scheduling topics.
