Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Staff Project Controls Specialist to lead the project controls processes with the internal project management team to deliver projects on budget and schedule. You will set up projects in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software and produce scheduling, cost, cash flow and forecast reports.

You will develop WBS, monitor progress, review change orders, and provide earned value management, ensuring accuracy through field audits and rigorous reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, construction management or related field with 3 years of project controls experience.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls processes with the project management team to deliver on budget and schedule.
• Set up projects in Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
• Develop, implement, and maintain scheduling, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
• Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and develop various levels of schedules.
• Review changes to prime contracts, POs and subcontracts for proper coding.
• Develop earned value management and progress measurement, and perform field audits.
