Job summary

Premier Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a Principal Project Controls Specialist – Cost to lead cost management for a major power generation EPC project. Initial remote/Charlotte support with future full-time site mobilization in Anderson, SC.

The role requires expert-level cost forecasting, EVM, and cost-schedule integration, with extensive EPC experience and direct power generation construction background. Travel to Anderson, SC will be needed as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• Lead-level Project Controls experience on complex EPC projects.
• Direct experience supporting power generation construction (Combined/Simple Cycle, Solar, Battery).
• Expert-level cost forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis.
• Earned Value Management, variance analysis, and cost reporting expertise.
• Cost-schedule integration and data sharing across teams.
• Proficiency with Excel and major EPM tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost baselines, budgets, and forecasts.
• Lead cost forecasting for large-scale construction projects.
• Perform EVM, variance reporting, and trend analysis.
• Develop and maintain project cost estimates and monthly reports.
• Integrate cost and schedule data to support forecasting and CPM decisions.
• Coordinate with field schedulers and contractors for cost information.
