Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company is seeking a Senior Engineer for Project Engineering to provide engineering leadership across multiple complex projects within the Project & Field Engineering group. You will lead the technical core team, oversee external firms and internal specialists, and ensure designs align with Colonial’s standards and best practices.

Interface with internal engineering, Information Systems, and measurement teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
10+ years engineering experience; oil/gas or related industry preferred.
5+ years working on oil/gas projects.
Advanced knowledge of oil and gas codes and standards (API, CFR Part 195).

Responsibilities

Serve as a member of the project core team accountable for development and execution of technical scope of work.
Identify, contract, and manage external technical resources.
Identify, recruit, and lead the technical sub team and report progress to project manager and core team.
Develop, review and ensure quality of technical deliverables and design documents as per Engineering Deliverables by Stage.
Support and lead project management processes and tools related to technical aspects.
Support and lead project engineering initiatives assigned by leadership.
