Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project controls or project management, preferably in nuclear energy or large EPC environments.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and robust cost management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills; ability to influence across teams.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard PM software.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry-specific project controls standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain a robust project controls framework for assigned projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals.
  • Ensure consistent application of project management methodologies across projects.
  • Oversee detailed planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
  • Establish and monitor budgets, track expenditures, and manage variances.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect project outcomes.
  • Apply Earned Value Management to measure performance and progress.
  • Prepare regular status reports with KPIs and variance analyses.
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget with proper approvals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes and tools.
