Job summary

Quaise Energy seeks a Project Controls Lead to own the financial backbone of geothermal development and construction projects. You will partner with Finance and Supply Chain to build scalable controls, accounting, and compliance systems. The role supports multiple stakeholders while promoting a safe, innovative work culture.

The position focuses on project accounting, cost control, tax credit compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred/required.
• 5–7+ years of experience in project accounting, project controls, or related roles.
• Experience in energy development or ownership companies is valued; construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to the project team with day-to-day financial support across the project lifecycle.
• Own project-level accounting: budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, invoice review, approvals.
• Maintain budget vs actual reporting and cash flow forecasts; flag variances promptly.
• Track commitments, change orders, and vendor payments per EPC terms.
• Oversee procurement logistics, imports, freight, storage, and maintenance activities.
• Implement tax credit compliance plans and maintain audit-ready documentation.
