Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the United States. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, identify variances, and assist in root-cause analyses.

The role requires collaboration with project teams and management while ensuring adherence to safety and internal procedures. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of EVM, schedule performance, and cost

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with at least 5 years of related experience.
Expertise in schedule development, cost control, and earned value management.
Ability to develop and analyze project cost baselines and forecasts.
Experience with government or federal regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develops time-phased project schedules and integrated cost baselines for moderately to highly complex projects.
Collects and analyzes schedule and cost data, identifies variances, and performs root-cause analysis.
Maintains risk reserves and communicates forecasts and status to stakeholders.
Supports financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques.
Mentors junior staff and collaborates with project teams across locations.
