Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Controls Professional to join our team in the Western U.S. The role reports to our Phoenix, AZ or Portland, OR office and supports the Electronics group with weekly cost updates and monthly project reviews.

You will monitor budgets, forecast costs, and ensure accurate cost tracking across projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project controls within engineering consulting and strong Excel, EcoSys experience, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering consulting as a project controls professional.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and practices.
• Advanced Excel; proficient Word/Outlook/Teams/SharePoint.
• Ability to learn and communicate effectively, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly financial updates to project controls team.
• Prepare for and participate in monthly project reviews.
• Monitor budgets vs. actuals and forecasts; ensure cost tracking accuracy.
