Job summary

Global Technical Talent invites applications for a Senior Project Controls Analyst in Fresno, CA, a hybrid role with 1-2 days/week in the office. The position supports project scheduling, cost planning, and financial analysis within a large utility environment.

The candidate will collaborate with project managers to develop schedules, forecasts, and performance reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Travel/mileage options and equipment support are provided.

Qualifications

• Depth of project controls experience, including cost, schedule, and forecasting.
• Technical proficiency with project controls tools and analytics.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen.
• Proficiency with financial tracking tools (e.g., SAP/BW).
• Ability to develop and maintain project schedules and cash flow/forecast plans.
• Experience preparing cost reports and maintaining forecast accuracy.
• Experience with project performance analysis and reporting using established industry standards.
• Familiarity with GRC or FERC cost request processes.
• Experience preparing and processing vendor invoice accruals, journal entries, and PO-related goods receipts.
• Ability to maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS) and project documentation.
• Experience supporting change order requests and project risk management.
• Ability to prepare dashboards and other visual management tools.
• Experience with database maintenance, report creation, and data consolidation.
• Intranet site maintenance and data sheet updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedule and cash flow/forecast plans with input from functional departments.
• Create, maintain, and update schedules and track milestones.
• Monitor and communicate project risks and status to stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly forecast budgets and cost reports.
• Provide regular cost and schedule variance analyses to PM leadership.
• Ensure regulatory and contractual requirements are met throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain project documentation and change logs; support governance processes.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports and dashboards for project performance.
