Sundt Construction seeks a Project Controls Manager to collaborate with business units, ensuring SMS policies and procedures are understood and implemented across all projects. You will measure performance metrics, mitigate risk, and drive relentless execution with a focus on continuous improvement and governance.

You will lead data analytics, support recovery plans for performance deficiencies, and provide cross-unit guidance to maintain uniform SMS implementation and project controls across

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Finance/Accounting preferred.
• Experience with large complex construction projects (> $50MM).
• Knowledge/experience in construction operations within Building, Transportation and/or Industrial markets.
• Scheduling with enterprise-based software; P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance auditing of project governance per SMS and PMP.
• Drive Lean principles and continuous improvement across projects.
• Evaluate updates to SMS workflows, forms, and system manuals.
• Identify best practices and lessons learned for broader implementation.
• Measure project performance metrics and risk indicators to enable early warnings.
• Support data analytics and reporting formats for auditing consistency.
• Develop recovery plans for critical project management deficiencies as assigned by PMO.
• Provide guidance to ensure uniform SMS policy implementation across units.
