Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the United States. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, analyze variances, and assist in root cause analysis, ensuring risk reserves are integrated into forecasts and communicated through standard reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of related experience.
• Experience on projects of moderate to high complexity.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Generates earned value reports and discusses observations with the project manager.
• Monitors progress and reports on On Time Delivery, risk and profit/loss trends.
• Supports financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques.
• Mentors junior staff and may supervise the work of junior engineers.
