Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across multiple locations. You will develop cost and schedule baselines, collect and analyze data, and communicate forecasts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include applying Earned Value Management, maintaining risk reserves, and integrating financial controls with project delivery teams. Domestic and international travel may be required, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as required.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
• Performs performance reporting for a portfolio of projects using Earned Value Management.
• Documents and assesses impact of project changes on cost/schedule baselines.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff.
