Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States. You will develop cost baselines, monitor progress, and produce reports that inform stakeholders.

You will apply Earned Value Management, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards. Travel to project sites will be 20%–40% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with Earned Value Management and financial controls.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and EcoSys scheduling/controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Maintain cost baselines and update forecasts as required.
• Prepare client and internal status reports on cost/schedule.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety standards.
