Job summary

United Global Technologies is seeking a Senior-Level Engineer (P6) in Los Alamos, NM to lead cost estimating, control, and EVMS-related project controls activities. The role requires a Q clearance or ability to obtain, Cobra backend software experience, and a proven track record in planning, scheduling, budgets, and leadership across teams.

You will develop schedules, monitor progress, identify trends, prepare status reports, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery for complex defense programs.

Qualifications

• P6 experience required for senior-level engagement.
• Expertise in cost engineering, planning/scheduling, and EVMS.
• Strong leadership and supervision capabilities.
• Proficient communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Support the EVMS and Project Controls System.
• Perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor schedules.
• Provide technical direction for cost engineering and planning/scheduling activities.
• Identify trends for management attention.
• Coordinate activities of other personnel and provide leadership.
• Ensure project work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and deliver detailed status reports and corrective actions.
