Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Controls professional in Los Alamos, NM to support scheduling and cost analysis for DOE EM FAR-based EVMS compliance. You will guide PM and PC staff and provide managerial oversight.

The role oversees baseline development, cost engineering, EVMS, and change/risk management to ensure contract compliance. Strong leadership and Primavera P6 skills are required. BS with 10 years of experience including 5 in management is desired.

Qualifications

• BS with at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in management.
• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools, especially Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with EVMS requirements.
• Prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises schedule development, maintenance and monitoring.
• Reviews monthly EVMS reports.
• Responds to data calls from program and management teams.
• Integrates change and risk management with the risk manager.
• Manages funds management analysis and reporting per FAR 52.232-22.
• Prepares and reviews cost engineering and planning activities.
• Supports project organizational and administrative activities.
• Identifies cost trends for management attention.
• Advises management on status of work in progress.
