Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop and manage schedule and cost baselines, monitor expenditures, and provide detailed performance reporting using EVM.

The role requires coordinating with project teams and management to ensure on-time delivery and financial health. Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s Degree with about five years of relevant experience, extensive EVM expertise, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience.
Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs and updates requirements.
Maintains integrated critical path schedules for major projects and portfolios.
Generates and analyzes earned value reports and discusses findings with project managers.
Performs portfolio analysis, including risk and profit/loss analyses for client reports.
Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff and mentors them for future growth.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government regulations and communicates with stakeholders.
