Job summary

P&C Recruiting | H.R. seeks a Senior Project Controls Specialist in Idaho to lead earned value management, baseline maintenance, and performance tracking for >$10M projects. You will provide controls support to site teams and finance functions, ensuring independent assessment of project health for decision-making.

Responsibilities include EVM implementation, stage-gate packages, cost benchmarking, and data integration with ERP systems. Strong CPM scheduling and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of project controls or cost engineering in heavy industry; mining or construction experience preferred.
• AACE International CCP/EVP/CEP or PMP certification is an advantage.
• Experience implementing EVM, baseline management, and performance forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cost and schedule baselines for major capital projects.
• Implement and operate earned value management processes and report CPI/SPI.
• Produce monthly project performance reports for senior leadership and committees.
• Monitor contingency drawdown against budgets and flag variances needing action.
• Prepare objective stage-gate review packages with cost, schedule, risk evidence.
